AGATHA & CLEO'S EXPLODING PLASTIC YNEVITABLE

BIOGRAPHY:

Agatha & Cleo's Exploding Plastic Ynevitable were a Graeme High School based band featuring Derek Brown (vocals / guitar) and Greg Robertson (keyboards), who played only one date (The Grangemouth Rock Festival at The Leapark Hotel in August 1986), before changing their name to A Death In The Family, and then later Kallisti. By this date they had been joined by ex-Orion drummer Sandy Mitchell. The name was taken from Andy Warhol's Exploding Plastic Inevitable, which was then added to so that the initials were ACEPY (Ace PI!). As both members were Maths type students, this is probably a Maths joke that the rest of us don't get. Greg Robertson had previously played in Prog Rock act Helm's Deep, before seeing the light when he discovered The Velvet Underground.
