The
BEST LOCAL BAND...?
Just who are the best local band ever? That's a matter of taste, but as for the
most successful, we've tried to work it out. Here's how we did it:
For every year a band exists, we awarded them 1 point. For every single release,
we awarded 2 points. For every album release, we awarded 5 points. For every UK
hit single or album we awarded 10 points. If the band had four members, but only
two were local, we divided their score by 2. If only one was local, we divided
their score by four, and so on.
