The
BEST LOCAL BAND...?
Just who are the best local band ever? That's a matter of taste, but as for the
most successful, we've tried to work it out. Here's how we did it:
For every
year a band exists, we awarded them 1 point. For every single release, we awarded
2 points. For every album release, we awarded 5 points. For every UK hit single
or album we awarded 10 points. If the band had four members, but only two were
local, we divided their score by 2. If only one was local, we divided their score
by four, and so on.
