The B.M.X. BANDITS

BIOGRAPHY:

Legendary and influential Glaswegian band formed in the 1980's by Duglas T. Stewart (vocals). Their 2006 line-up also featured Falkirk musician David Scott (also of The Pearlfishers), along with Rachel Mackenzie (vocals), Stuart Kidd (bass / guitar / drums), Brian McEwan (bass / keyboards / guitar), Jamie Cameron (guitar) & Gabriel Telerman (guitar).
In 2007 they released a new album, "Bee Stings", and a single.
In 2009 Kidd, McEwan & Cameron helped Lewis Wilson record his debut album. By 2010 the line-up was Stewart, Scott, Rachel Allison (vocals, previously Rachel MacKenzie), Jim McCulloch (guitar, ex-Soup Dragons), Finlay McDonald & Jim Gash (drums, ex-Pearlfishers). THe band continued playing sporadic shows into 2011.
