BORDERLINE
BIOGRAPHY:
Band formed as Take 5 in 1990, who changed
their name to Borderline during the summer. The line up consisted of Jamie Anderson
(saxophone), Andrew Baker (saxophone), Stuart Blackwood (vocals / guitar), Carrick
Flockhart (guitar), Robin Michaels (keyboards), Keith Parsons (bass), Gordon
Samuels (drums) & Barry Smart (trombone). The large band continued to gig
into 1992 with whatever musicians were available on the night. In 1992 Anderson
also played with The Smokehouse
Blues Band. In July 1992 Blackwood joined The
Delta Hurricanes, and soon afterwards Borderline split. Parsons & Samuels
later joined Blackwood in The
Delta Hurricanes, whilst Baker played keyboards for Heskey.
