Often we get asked
at the site where to play or record locally, so here is a guide to what is available.
We'll try to keep it up to date, but that relies on you lot telling us.
A lot of the
following is stolen wholesale from the excellent "Falkirk Wall" website.
Thanks and sorry to them.
VENUES
Argylls
Has returned to the live music scene after a long lay-off, with the resurrection of The Happening Club every friday night. The Falkirk Folk Club has also moved here, and runs a regular folk night.
The
Den
- Manor Street, Falkirk.
Gigs at the Den have been put on hold at the moment,
however they did run unplugged sessions for local and small artists to get a chance
to promote their own material. All the gigs were free to attend. They usually
had two artists per session and were on every second Tuesday. There was no age
restrictions to the nights because they didn't sell alcohol, so it meant younger
artists and a younger audience could participate. The Den opens at 7pm on those
nights and stays open till about 10pm, with the music between 7.30 and 9.30 usually.
If you'd like to play at The Den contact Davide @ davide@jbeez.co.uk
