The
CYANIDE DOLLS
BIOGRAPHY:
Manic Street Preachers influenced act formed in 1992 by David Gow (drums),
Paul Deans (bass), Dav Jones (vocals), Kevin O'Donnell (guitar) & Michael
Thom (vocals / guitar). Dav Jones was then thrown out for being "too crap
at singing", and Deans left, to be replaced by Gary Miller (bass). The band
continued to play until 1995, after which Gow & Miller joined Arab
Strap, with Gow later forming Sons
& Daughters. Rumour has it that promoter and future Franz Ferdinand frontman
Alex Kapranos once "punched out" one of the band for being "difficult".
Deans,
Thom & O'Donnell then formed Pretty
Kamikaze.
