FIDDLER'S DRAM

BIOGRAPHY:

English folk act formed by Alan Prosser (guitars / mandolin / vocals) & Falkirk born Ian Telfer (fiddle / concertina, ex-New Celeste). Fiddler's Dram attempted a serious career until they were ruined by novelty hit "Day Trip To Bangor". This was the kind of success a band does not easily recover from, and Fiddler's Dram did one more tour then gratefully took the money (and the gold discs) and ran. In Prosser & Telfer's case it was into what was then an aspiring folk dance outfit, The Oyster Band.
