BIOGRAPHY:

Act formed in 1987 by Kevin Deans (bass, ex-Scapegoat Society), John McAleer (vocals, ex-Southern Comfort), Jason Taylor (drums, ex-...And Jane) & Gary Verth (guitar, ex-Southern Comfort). The Happymen only played one date, a support at The Metropolitan Hotel, Falkirk, before splitting. Deans joined The Big Trees, and was later reunited with Verth in Stacatto Hat, whilst Taylor later formed Bay & The Angry Buddhists.
