I STAND ALONE

BIOGRAPHY:

I Stand Alone came to life in the Spring of 2004 with a line-up of Soap (vocals), Iain (guitar / vocals, ex-Intake) Richard Bruce (bass / vocals, ex-Turtlehead) & Robert Francis (drums, ex-Turtlehead). After getting the line-up sorted, the band have been out and about playing anywhere for "juice and crisps".
I Stand Alone released a split 7 inch single with US band Handgun Bravado early in 2006, using two tracks recorded in September. At this time the also recorded their own single, with tracks called 'Scene Bingo', 'Lifetime', "Fully Op". The band was then bolstered by second guitarist Steve Meader (ex-In The Clear), and returned to the studio in September. Meader lasted a short period of time before leaving, and the band then split early in 2007. Francis then put together a new (as yet unamed) band with members of Buzzbomb & 3 Steps Down.
This band were unconnected to another local band, Stand Alone.
