The LAST SALOON

BIOGRAPHY:

Four piece act put together in 2008 by Ross Fairweather (vocals / guitar), featuring Andy Pratt (guitar, also with The International Pop Assassins), Johnny Forrester (bass) & Scott Young (drums, ex-Ice Cold And Alex). The band made their live debut at Rialto's, Falkirk, in November. Early 2009 saw the band recording their debut EP, whilst playing a date at King Tut's Wah Wah hut, Glasgow. More live work followed in the next couple of months, including a date at Big In Falkirk in May. That month, they recorded a second EP at Homegrown Studios, this time featuring Alana McLernon on guest backing vocals. Autumn 2009 saw them recruiting Martin Lamont (keyboards), and continue to play into 2010. Summer saw the band taking a short break, before emerging again in Autumn with Dan Adams (guitar, ex-Doledrums) helping out in place of a Pratt. Adams was later to join Davy Horne & The Golden Pipes, whilst Forrester joined The Special Guests.
