RECORDING OPPORTUNITY
A opportunity exists for a local band to be recorded free of charge. Dean Varga is a student at Falkirk College, studying Sound Production. As part of his course he has to record a track from a full band, preferably one with established songs (i.e Not a band made up of people from his course performing a cover). Dean is scouting about for bands that would be interested in getting a track recorded for free as part of the project.
He would be looking to start recording in January, and the recording would take place during the week.
The college is fully equipped with desks and high quality mics. The only thing required is that the band bring their own drum kit (this includes snares, toms and cymbals. The college kick drum is not bad so you could also use that), and if possible, amps.
If any bands are interested they can contact deanvarga@hotmail.co.uk.
