The SAINTS

BIOGRAPHY:

Probably the leading local band from the early 1960's, featuring Eric Liston on guitar, and George Barr on bass, along with a female vocalist. They took over from the Cochrane Brothers as the regular band at Larbert's Dobbie Hall. George now plays in the Zeneca Club band at weekends. Another member was Jackie O'Neill, who later formed The 20th Century Sounds, whilst Liston and another member, Stewart Wright, later joined the Johnny Kildare Orchestra.
